Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of therapy used for various mental health issues, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, and/or psychosocial conditions.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Technique (DBT) Teaches enhancement or development of coping response in the areas of mindfulness training, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal skill development, and distress tolerance.

Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy looks at the maladaptive themes or schemas formed in early developmental experiences due to unmet emotional and/or physical needs that then gets espoused into a person’s coping responses/patterns.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation involves a lot of information giving and also helps to destigmatize the individual experiencing the mental health issues. It has a strong educational component around the diagnosis, medication and self-care issues.

Naturopathy

Naturopathy works with you as an individual – just like therapy – and my work as a Naturopathic Doctor celebrates your uniqueness and individuality. My approaches incorporate a myriad of treatment options and interventions into mental health care.

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a non-invasive energetic treatment approach that incorporates conventional or Western philosophical tenets along with Eastern philosophical tenets by utilizing applied kinesiology or muscle response testing.

Neuro Modulation Technique (NMT)

Neuro Modulation Technique (NMT) is another alternative or energetic treatment technique that deals in quantum physics and Muscle Response Testing. NMT looks at erroneous messaging or “information faults”.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing is a non-invasive “Bilateral” treatment intervention, meaning that various senses (e.g. sight, hearing or tactile/feeling) get engaged to treat traumatic or stressful/bothersome reoccurring memories.
